Winter Camp

Intro to Tagalog Camps

For students of all age groups

  • Early Elementary: 4-7 years old
  • Late Elementary: 7-11 years old
  • Middle/High School: 10-17 years old
  • Adult: Ages 18+ (High school students comfortable with college curriculum are welcome!
  • Kids & Parents: For non-readers to 8-year-olds and parents (or other adults (grandparents, uncles/aunts, adult siblings, guardians); uses the kids’ curriculum)
 
Pricing and Additional Information
  • Complete the course within 5 days
    • Kids: 45-minute daily classes from Tuesday to Saturday at $60
    • Adults: 60-minute daily classes from Tuesday to Saturday at $70
    • Kids & Parents: 45-minute daily classes from Tuesday to Saturday at $90

Class Overview
  • Every class focuses on different topics and activities. Here is an outline of what you can expect to learn in each class:
  • Kids
    1. Self-introduction and basic greetings
    2. Filipino alphabet (ABAKADA) and examples for each letter
    3. Counting numbers
    4. Members of the family and the verb punta
    5. Parts of a house and the verb linis
    6. Game review
  • Adults
    1. Self-introduction, basic greetings, and introduction to the Tagalog sentence pattern
    2. Job Titles and Nominative Pronouns
    3. Relationships, Possessive Pronouns, and Question Word Sino
    4. Functions of the marker sa and markers kay/kina
    5. Sa personal pronouns, marker ba, and linker na/-ng
    6. Game review

Filipino-American History Camps

For students ages 7 and up

  • Kids: 7-11 years old (Students under 7 are welcome as long as they can read.)
  • Adults/Middle-to-High School: Ages 12 and up

Pricing and Additional Information
  • Complete the course within 5 days
    • Kids: 60-minute daily classes from Monday to Friday at $70
    • Adults/Middle-to-High School: 75-minute daily classes from Monday to Friday at $80
